I like the phrase "robot arms race" - its nicely ambiguous.  It could
mean that robots and humans are trying to outdo each other in their
development of weapons.  OTOH, I have a vision of several robots
detaching their arms and sending them racing down a track [1].
"C3PO's arm is ahead by a finger ..."
