The "honor" goes to anyone who bothers to make the movies in the first 
place.  I doubt America is over-represented given its prolific studio 
output.  I leave it as an exercise to the reader to find the movies 
where India saves the world, complete with full-on Bollywood song and 
dance numbers.  Generally, I'd says it's mostly a case of English 
speakers simply not being exposed to many non-English disaster movies.
