I don't think Marvel gets a bad deal out of selling their rights out.
Actually I'm not sure they sold *all* the rights, just licensed them
out for a while, they probably get a % of profit from the films a %
from other licensing (toys, t-shirts, McDonalds meals etc.) Plus all
the interest in the comics too. Not a bad deal for just sitting there
and watching someone else do all the work. Wasn't 2007 like one of
Marvels best ever?
Still perhaps I've been a bit tough on DC, I often forget that these
were all DC films:,
Road to Perdition
Constantine
A History of Violence
V for Vendetta
The Fountain
Stardust
so I guess DC isn't doing too bad. I just want more superhero films,
and I guess we do have these films to look forward to:
TDK
The Spirit
Watchmen
And apparently these are announced?
Wonder Woman 2009 Warner Bros.
The Man of Steel 2010 Legendary Pictures / Warner Bros.
Green Lantern 2010 Warner Bros.
The Flash TBA Warner Bros.
Justice League TBA Warner Bros. Pictures
