I would appreciate a URL to the OED reference, at least.

I checked on the plural of "virus" earlier in the OED,
for my own amusement. I did find "viri" in another
context, as a Latinoid combination form meaning "men",
eg, in "triumviri", members (men) of the group of
three men. However, I didn't see "virii" anywhere.

I went back and did a full text search: still no
"virii" anywhere. Where did you find "virii" in
the OED Online?

I also checked Webster's Instant Word Guide and
found neither "viri" nor "virii". Your assistance
there would also be appreciated.
