Don't know the specific answer to your question, but with regard to the 
Gerard O'Neill studies of space habitats at Lagrange Points, I seem to 
remember reading that the decision to focus attention on L-5 rather than
L-4 
was rather arbitrary.  That might mean neither has any outstanding
advantage 
over the other.
