But the original poster stipulated that what he was looking for was the
trajectory that minimized fuel, which isn't a double-Hohmann transfer;
it's the trajectory that has been described, which is ****ging your
(circular) orbit inward or outward a little bit, waiting for the target
to catch up, and then ****ging it back. So these calculations, even if
correct, don't really answer the question that was posed.
