SFish type concept. Will it actuall work?

Wonder what the residents here would think?

I don't know or understand enough about fuel cell terminology and
technology 
to decide whether this could work or if its some elaborate scam.

The credentials of the inventor would seem to be above reproach but money 
but... who knows.

Anyway, its vaguly SF-ish, a solid state device that you plug into a heat 
source and ... well watch the lights and everything else we do with 
electricity. No moving parts so less things to break down, high efficiency

as compared with steam engine + generator combos.

Any comments welcome.
