Depends on what you mean by "conventional", I guess.

1)  There are towns in Siberia where it gets down below -50 for
extended periods of time (like, days).  I imagine people must go
outside sometimes anyhow.

2)  Inuit (Eskimos) and Siberian native tribes survive just fine in
places that regularly get down around -50, and that's without any high
tech at all.  Your matches may not light, your watch may have stopped,
but a bone harpoon works just fine.

It may help if you tell us what you want to do at this temperature.
Just survive?  Physical activity?  Long-term settlement?
