In a UK hospital I'd probably be in a ward, with other people. I woudl
assume that they'd start dying soon without feeding or watering, so I'd
want to get out reasonably quickly.
Also, there's lots of disease in hospital, so I would want to avoid that.
I'd probably try to grab as many useful medical things as I could -
dressings, pain relief meds, anti-microbial soap, alcohol hand gels,
anti-biotics, food-medicines like "Ensure Plus" or "fortisips", some
entonox for fun.
There's probably a load more useful stuff. I might empty an ambulance to
keep it all in. That vehicle is useful because it's big, and has
flashing lights. I don't know how paranoid I'd be though, so maybe that
would be a disadvantage.
Short term I'd probably gather useful items and a vehicle.
Lots of tinned food, lots of bottled water. Lots of camping supplies.
Lots of tools and equipment.
