When I was last in the hospital, I asked if I could log on to her
computer to check my e-mail. The nurse said only supervisors had the
passwords for Internet access because they didn't want the staff
surfing when they were supposed to be working.
The problem, though, is that it was a very unusual hospital, odd to
the point that the food was great, so it doesn't tell me anything
about how normal hospitals operate.
