There are several species of UV resistant extremophiles on Earth, and 
they managed to evolve that property in an environment where there 
wasn't much need for it. So we know that UV resistant biochemistry 
works. In a high UV environment, such biochemistry would be expected to 
be the norm.

We can't be certain until we actually study life that has evolved in 
high UV environments.
