I think you've got it. That's a better explanation than mine. So
he posts here because it's ALMOST on topic, and he does get
feedback.

He's tried only a few times, and each is better than the previous.
In a few weeks I'll remove my killfile for threads he starts and
see if he's sufficiently interesting to me.
