If you're suggesting that folks such as Isaac, Bryan, Michael, or Eivind 
(just to name a few off the top of my head) -- all of whom have been 
known to dabble fairly significantly in the odd Wildepad-humoring thread 
-- do not qualify as the "more intelligent" contributors to 
rec.arts.sf.science, then I'd take offense, even if they wouldn't.
