To extend the analogy, you went into a place with a big sign hung up 
reading "Root Canals". You were given the opportunity to hang around and 
watch everyone come in and get root canals. You got several root canals, 
done by people who had you sign a big form indicating your consent to have

a root canal. And despite all of this, you *still* keep coming back into 
the Root Canal offce for teeth cleanings and whining about how you keep 
getting root canals.
