The "look like your surroundings" trick is (relatively) easy to do
when you're a cuttlefish, in an environment filled with pebbles and
other debris to mimic. If you're a stealth aircraft or (saints
preserve us!) spacecraft, in an environment filled with...nothing, I
would imagine this approach is a bit more difficult.
