Do you really care?  I was thinking in terms of maybe a 10cm
or 1m seperation between the black holes and the victim.  What
are these god-like aliens trying to do, anyway?

I was just figuring that the aliens just wanted to trans****t a
human victim around the galaxy, and didn't really care about
the victim's comfort.  Thus, strapping him into a bed and
sedating him for the journey would be acceptable.
