 I don't think so. I have that selected and a particular phrase that is a 
nuisance in another newsgroup and it still shows the subject header but
just 
greyed out.

 But as Chris said; it still shows the thread, only greyed out with
'Ignore 
conversation' while it completely disappears with 'block sender'.

 Another problem with OE is the erratic nature of its spellchecker. Their 
seems to be no rhyme or reason as to when it will spot misspellings and
when 
it will not. I had begun to suspect that I had somehow added a bunch of 
misspellings to the custom dictionary but I can't see how you access it to

view and edit it.
