Probably depends on user preference. If you want smoothness, you just have

it build a script that fits the new events without interruption, and while

still sounding like what the other guy is saying. (It is *massively* 
superhuman, so making up a conversation that sounds more real than reality

on the fly ought to be a piece of cake for it.) If you want more accuracy 
then it can back up or give you a pause as you need.

If you have really powerful computers, then you just upload yourself and 
run inside the latency hiding algorithm. Then when something unexpected 
happens, it can roll back your own consciousness to before the change 
occurred and start again from there.
