Hussein (or Hussayn) was Islam's third imam, a figure on par with the
Christianity's Matthew or John, or Judaism's David or Solomon, or a martyr
to his faith like any number of Catholic saints. To demean the very name
of Hussein is racist and ignorant and funny how in Islam there is
knowledge of and respect for Matthew and John  and David and Solomon, but
for honky rednecks Hussein is just another word for sand-nigger.

A lovely legend has it that when Hussayn was beheaded, the bloof flowed
from him across the desert, and erupted into a fiery bloom of tulips.
Maybe the honky rednecks should start condemning anyone with the third
imam's symbol, the tulips, growing in their garden. Damned tulip-loving
gardeners.
