You don't need to keep solar cells aimed at the sun.  You just
need more solar cells to receive light in any relevant direction.

You don't need to bother with two weeks of darkness if you
just put your station in orbit rather than on the Moon.  I don't
see why you'd want to put your station on the Moon.  Easier
to find?  I don't think so.  Earth is even easier to find than the
Moon, and a bright moving dot against the dark background
of space is easier to find and home in on than navigating to
some particular spot on the Moon (especially during those
two weeks of night).

As for vacuum-proofing, you just need a station that's airtight.
The stuff you put in it doesn't need to be vacuum proofed.
