I'd guess (at least initially) to first order the average growth rate
would be pro****tional to event horizon area, which is pro****tional to
square of mass.  So the growth curve for small masses should start off
something like  k / (T0 - T)  for some constant k.

If so, then I'd guess k is probably on the order of 10^40 kg^-1 s^-1.

Assuming the model above (probably not the best), at that point it
would have a mass of about 10^16 kg (Schwarzschild radius about
10^-11 m) and take on the order of 10^16 years.

At a million tonnes per second going into the hole, the black hole
might have about Earth's mass, and take tens of millions of years to
double.  At that point the mass-energy going into the hole would be
comparable to the Sun's normal power output, so it should have
noticeable effects.

Or then again, my time (which is really a complete guess) could be out
by a factor of a million.
