Well, for all that we know the electron (and all the other elementary 
particles like quarks, mus, Z/W,...) is point-like. i.e. it doesn't have 
any spatial extension. Given this, it'll be really tricky to find 
something to punch/squeeze/lobotomize an electron.
So, I tend to agree with the other posters, the simplest means to get 
rid of an electron is to give it a positron to cuddle up to.
