You mentioned manufacturing cost as one of the trade-offs earlier of
course, but I thought it was worth mentioning again here. If you're
willing to pay a significant amount for modifications compared with
engine cost, you probably can get all the performance characteristics
better at once. In theory.
I suspect this does not apply to the "hydrogen fuel injection" thing
though.
