nuclear reactors in short term space warfare

by Raghar <RagharA2@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 30, 2008 at 08:30 AM

I was wondering about how massive would be a radiation shield for a
200 MW(t) low mass nuclear reactor. Lets assume military grade
uranium, or plutonium as a reactor fuel.

Actually it might be interesting to see a some numbers for a mass of a
said nuclear reactor. 99.2 U235, pressure > 3 atmospheres, fast and
repeatable start and cool down.
