	Good luck with that thought.  Hollywood's been going through
more than its usual dry spell in creativity the last decade (and
more), that this should be entirely too expected.  Let's not tap the
unknown frontier, when we can tap and re-tap and re-re-tap what's been
put on television from the 50s - 80s.

	That's the problem with many Hollywood Executives however,
they want to capture the reminiscing factor of people around my age,
to bring along their children to see a show that they remembered
moderately fondly when they were their children's ages.  
	But instead of trying to stay to the theme of the original
show, they then get directors and other producers involved with this
group-think that is scarier than a Borg Assimilation (the original,
not the wimpy Borg that followed since) that works along the lines of
"...wouldn't it be cool, if..."  

	Blown to hell and back can only remotely describe what happens
after that.

	Not when you're dealing with other dumbing down factors of,
"we need to aim this 'at the kids'."  *groans*  What happened to
"Thunderbirds" is going to happen to this, mark my words.

	You're...  surprised to see this?  I'm not.  Why do we need an
alien-made superhero costume with nifty abilities against the
"dragons" in our lives when Hollywood works on the thought that the
dragon slayers of this day and age are .38s and .45 revolvers...  Oh
and let's not forget the whole "Yippee-ki-yay, mother****er" with a
lot of explosions to slay those particular dragons, that works too.
