Yes it was. The main characters were kids, and even though they were
Boomers, shows starring kids are kids' shows. At least that's the way I
remember it.

Yeah, I guess they were aimed mostly at the same audience. But TWY,
since it starred kids, appealed to kids, and I've heard China Beach
called a chick show because the main characters were women. It wasn't,
but it had that reputation.

And why neither of them will ever be on DVD. Without the music, it's

Karen Arnold was exactly my age. 

And you're right about the war lasting forever. I never noticed that
before. It contrasts strongly with the Arab-Israeli wars that ended
after just a few days.
