For an upcoming PBS show featuring flexible nanotech-based sensing
technology, I need to visually introduce the concept of artificial skin.
So I'm hunting for a film or TV clip that shows artificial skin. Ideally,
it
would show skin being applied or attached, then some demonstration of its
sensitivity.
The first thing I thought of was Luke's prosthetic hand at the end of
Empire Strikes Back. You can see it's artificial, and then the medical
robot pokes it, and Luke twitches and grimaces. The only problem is that
this scene is about his whole new hand. I need a scene that focuses
specifically on artificial skin.
Any ideas?
