Oops, I forgot some thoughts:

* During Lex's memories, Lionel and Lillian argue about a Project
Veritas.  Is this a foreshadowing of a future plot-line?  Or is it
part of some old episode that I forgot?

 Veritas has been metioned earlier in the series but I can't remember
when.

* Is it a bad idea for Lionel to know that Chloe has a meta-
ability?...

Depends on which Lionel he is -- old Lionel I'd say yes -- new "Jor-el" 
Lionel, I'd say no.
