I'm disappointed in the lack of Journeyman's renewal. Based on the
adverts I wasn't expecting much from that show, but I always give
every genre show a chance, regardless. I was pleasantly surprised by
the show's quality and by the sheer forward momentum of the story. It
was really the second best new show behind the terrific Pu****ng
Daisies, and one of the few that I never missed. I think if it had
caught on -- or had a champion at NBC the way Cheers and News Radio
had -- and was given a real shot, it would've been one of the all-time
great series.
I like Chuck quite a lot, and I'm happy to see it return, but Heroes
seriously stumbled, to the point where midway through the second
season I only watched it because it was sandwiched between Chuck and
Journeyman. Talk about your sophomore slump. They need to step up
their game for season 3, and they really need to come out swinging.
