Depends on what criteria you are concerned with. John Amsterdam is
not a vampire, just immortal. As such, he doesn't have the typical
vampire weaknesses, nor does he have super-strength, or any of the
other typical vampire powers. He's pretty much just a normal guy
who happens to be several hundred years old.
As far as the quality of the pilot, I'd rate it as below ANGEL,
but above MOONLIGHT, and way above BLOOD TIES.
