Flash Gordon is bad, but even if it was good, it would be bad. Shows
like this and Bionic Woman remake are such a failure in imagination,
substituting a brand name instead of coming up with something truly
original, I sort of want every one of these shows to fail. But they
don't make these shows for me. Brand names sell, they attract
attention, bring in advertisers, maybe bring in audiences. So they
will always get green light over originality. Out of desperation, I
will sample it, inevitably hate it, and walk away.
