Are you suggesting that Sam would be so petty that she would refuse Teyla
to 
use the gate to leave? :-)

Ronon was ready to leave earlier in the season and although they were not 
happy about it, nobody was saying "Forget it, if you want to leave, you'll

have to swim for it." Teyla's deal has always been that being on Atlantis 
enabled her to fight for and to protect her people better than if she had 
stayed with them. If that ceased to be the case, she would go back to
them. 
I don't see anyone in SGC or on Atlantis forcing her to stay against her 
will.
