Actually I'm assuming the detour that was in use the last time hasn't
changed.  There's no chance to drive anywhere in Phoenix without hitting
at
least one section of construction.

My parents visited a couple of weeks ago, and when giving them directions
to
our place in N. Scottsdale from the air****t I forgot to check the AZ DOT
website.  I got a call from them while they were on the 202 telling me the
101 on-ramp was closed.  Turns out the whole 101 from Broadway to
McKellips
was closed.  Oops.  They got a nice tour of downtown Tempe as I got them
turned around and going up Hayden until they could cross over to the 101
again.

Stupid AZ planners...
