|
| Ah ok, now I understand the angle you are referring to. Yes, I agree
that as
| a scientist Juliet would have been very curious about the process
involved.
It's not just a matter of being very curious as a scientist. She is
supposedly working on a cure for the pregnancy problem in cooperation
with Ben. This cannot be reconciled with her failure to ask for and
receive critical need-to-know information in furtherance of that end.
| The only answer I can give, is when Ben and Juliet had the conversation,
Ben
| spoke about Jacob curing her sister and Juliet got very quiet. That made
me
| think that she knows about Jacob and maybe what he can do.
Obviously she doesn't know much since she (finally) confronted Ben when
she discovered his tumor. If she knew what was going on, that
conversation
would have been very different. She might have just said, ``oh, I see
what is causing your distress, you just need to get Jacob to cure this
tumor.'' As it turned out they needed a plain old neurosurgeon, so
whatever
she thought she may have known was untrue. If she had been lied to about
the details of the cure she should have discovered this by now through her
research. If she had asked for and been denied the information she should
have realized that Ben was lying long ago. I see no way to make sense of
this.
