If they had done any decent writing for most of the first season, they 
might have gotten a full second season. They have no one to blame but 
themselves.  But now that they have 7 episodes to wrap up their plot, 
that's what they need to be doing, not introducing new elements and new 
stories.  Otherwise, they're going to leave fans hanging AGAIN!
