Re: New Amsterdam -- An early look

I liked it.

Despite not having seen much of his work (only his very limited role
in Black Hawk Down) before, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau seems very likable
as an actor.  The slips of his accent seem natural as he is Danish
and, to American ears, that sounds close enough to his character's
supposed Dutch background.  The character has a lot of potential and
they did a good job on touching on some of that complexity to draw you
into the show.

I do wonder how long it's going to take for Marquez to put three and
three together and come up with either 6, 9 or 27.
