With the exception perhaps of ol' smokey the unknown, there was no such
evidence of "scifi" during seasons 1 or 2. It was only in season 3 that
we start getting the vague "time travel" possibility with Desmond
apparently bouncing backwards and forwards ... and then only when they
appeared to be running out of ideas.
