I watched New Amsterdam last night and enjoyed the immortal cop who
knows useful bits of background info about places and things in New York
and lets them drop from time to time. I thought it was well done. I
like the idea of this immortal just solving ordinary crimes, unlike the
supervillains the current vampires keep hunting.
