We don't know that for sure.  It does seem that way, but they've
dropped many hints that Cameron seeks something more.  For instance,
she extended her hand to John to stroke it as the robot was doing.

I suspect one of two possibilities:  1) Cameron is capable of some
emotional feelings, or 2) Cameron wants to be have emotional feelings,
wants to be human.  Cameron certainly tries to mimic every human
emotional behavior she sees and to understand it.

They tell us pets have no souls.  Is that really true?
