When that is all you have, that is what you end up going to court with. 
That does not make for a slam dunk case.  The way Amsterdam has 'solved' 
these first two cases would lead to him spending months preparing and
going 
to court to testify.  Confessions under duress or threat of harm...not
very 
useful.
