I like that theory.  Locke had a small fracture of a leg bone
in the "Lock Down" episode.  Didn't it get better fast?
I'd think there's more to healing a fracture than a strong
immune system.  Then there's Alpert who doesn't seem to
age.  Finally, since Ben's mother died in child birth,
could she have visited the Island, been on the Island,
or something else?  I guess we can rule out that it's
genetics.  But one last question is what's the purpose
of the shots against the sickness?  Can men get sick
too without shots?
