The producers have already said that Annie is of "seismic" im****tance
to the story.  The fact that adult Ben is still toting around the doll
she gave him should make it clear that Annie is a big part of his
psyche and his motivation, but of course you will say that's
gobbledegook, too.

Maybe you need a timeout from the show.
