That's easy.  As soon as Rodney died the most recent speculative time line
collapsed (because he wasn't around to create the AI).  Unlike the deluxe
model Ancient time machine, gate-effected time travel does not include
full
paradox protection.  You can be wrong a million times, but you only have
to
be right once.  Now I sure hope Jack remembers to send back that message
in
2010 or they will be in big trouble.
