I'm not much on Native American history. They were there, right? What
did they really live in?

Because he keeps changing his name and profession? Why would anyone
assume that this guy, who looks exactly like some lawyer in the 1940s,
really is the same person? I have a picture of my grandfather when he
was about 21 (in 1909), and I looked an awful lot like him when I was
that age (enough that my brother thought it was me in one of those
old-timey photos you get taken at amusement parks.) 

If called on it, all Amsterdam has to do is say, "Oh, that was my
grandfather..."
