Bring Back (shows you miss, shows you want remade, and shows you want
brought back)
My first, Charmed.
I really miss it. It wasn't a great show, but I really liked the
cast, the settings and even the opening theme song. I don't know why,
but I found it "soothing" (comfort food TV).
Next, The Black Adder and Beavis and Butthead
I group these together because they both have authors who have less
funny (IMHO) programs running. Namely, Mr. Bean and King of the
Hill.
Deadwood
I love people who know how to talk 'purdy' RIP W.F. Buckley and
Deadwood
Joan of Arcadia
I was really curious as to how this show was going to address
religious issues during prime time; 7th heaven did it, and Big Love
is doing it. The show made me feel, "hopeful." My atheist friends
didn't like the show, but they can rot in hell for all I care (heh).
I'd like them to finish "John Doe." Do you think it was the exact same
story line as Kyle XY? Like I said, this is no longer my day job so
I'm a little lazy on the research side, for all I know it could be the
same writers. But that's what my buds on Usenet are for, filling in
the gaps ;)
I'd also like them to finish ummm, it was on of those "5" shows not
Babylon 5, and not the old British show... Ah! Odyssey 5. I remember
thinking the casting was odd, but I got used to it.
Here's a couple I bet no one remembers: Thief and Heist.
Daybreak
Spy Game
The Agency
MST3000 (with Joel)
....and last, The Knights of umm, oh, The Knights of Prosperity.
You know what's interesting? I googled "The Knights" and I got the TV
show in the first 4 hits! So much for history and academics on the
net versus a comedy TV show (I expected The Knights Templar or
something).
