We know Rodney read that re****t, since he, or at least his avatar,
asked Sheppard if +he+ read it. We can speculate that Rodney also knew
about the quantum mirror. We certainly know that Rodney knows of
alternate realities, since he's interacted with one or two of them (at
one point in the past couple of eps, he mentioned that he's met two
different versions of himself), almost destroying one in the process.
