Oh, not have to walk hundreds of miles every year just to get groceries? 
Carrying everything you own with you?
Find a more efficient way to get your meat and clothes and tools than 
running as many animals as you can over a cliff?
Ride to see your buddies in another camp--or kill them?
Pretty much the same stuff that the people of the Asian and European
Steppe 
did when they domesticated horses and cattle.
