The DVR ratings are only counting unique viewers, so no, the same viewer
is 
not being counted twice and people don;t get counted simply because they 
DVR'ed a show (they have to actually watch it).  However, the way the 
ratings are released is very deceptive since it promotes the false belief 
that there are close to 4 million viewers being added to Lost's tally by
the 
DVR numbers.  In reality, you have to take the Live+7 data that the DVR 
numbers are based upon and subtract out the Live+same Day data that is 
typically re****ted the day after a show airs.  Many of the DVR users were 
already included since all they did was 'time****ft' by an hour or so that 
same night.

Example:  The latest data at the site referenced above shows that Lost had

3.978million DVR viewers and a total viewer count of 14.998million
viewers.
Actual viewer re****ts given for that day originally were: Lost having 
12.89Million viewers.

So, Lost really only added 2.11Million viewers with the +7 day time****ft 
data being added in, not almost 4 million.
