Well, the books are New York Times best sellers, and The Sci-Fi Channel
ratings capabilities aren't exactly broadcast level, so I'm not too sure
about that.

I don't know, but I got the feeling that word-of-mouth about the TV show
not being in line with the books, may have hurt the show.

Likewise, and the TV show led me to the books, which made apparent how
different the TV show was, and how different and watered down at least
one episode, STORM FRONT, was.
