It probably won't.  There are plenty of DVD releases covering
collections of episodes this small.

In fact, tvshowsondvd.com already ran an early story about a DVD
covering the second season of "Jericho" with a release date of June,
but quickly pulled the story.   Sometimes the site finds out about
tentative releases before they become officially announced and are
asked to pull their stories.  I suspect this was likely the case in
this instance.

I suspect we'll see a Season 2 release before the end of the year.
